Shilin
Last friday, we had lunch at Shilin restaurant. From the restaurant name you can know that this restaurant was specialized in Taiwanese Cuisine. The name "Shilin" was taken from the famous Shilin night market in Taiwan.
The restaurant interior wasn't very special, after seated we ordered "Taiwanese Chicken Fried Vermicelli" and "Pineapple Chicken Fried Rice". All the food comes with a small bowl of chicken broth soup and sugar cane juice. In my oppinion the food was lack of salt, a a little bit tasteless but worth to try lah :) Bon Apetit.

Do they list Pineapple Cake as a dessert item? Taiwanese Pineapple Cake is usually rectangle shaped with Nastar like filling in the middle.
jeny Said :
no, I don't think they had that type of desert.
