We watched "The DaVinci Code" last weekend at MegaMall Pluit, this movie was in my "die die must watch" movie list this year, but I was a little dissapointed to find out that it was not as good as the book.
Played by Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon, Audrey Tautou as Sophie Neveu, Ian McKellen as Sir Leigh Teabing. In my opinion, The film is faithful enough to the Dan Brown's controversial bestseller novel. but I don't know if that makes me feel bored. to much talking :) The characterization and portrayal of the characters in the Book is not Depicted well in the movie. Its not a bad movie, but this movie definitely was not the one that I want to watch again & again. I guess some books are better left as books...

setuju berat, g jg kecewa bgt sama film ini. aktornya hebat2 tp di sini kualitas aktingnya bener2 ga dikasi liat, setengah film terlalu didempet2 tapi endingnya rada boring. g rasa bakalan bingung bgt deh klo nonton film tanpa baca bukunya dulu.

Bagi penggemar film action, film DVC bakal terasa membosankan. Ngomong mulu, kapan berantemnya? :)
IMHO, DVC film tetap terasa mencekam, dan banyak nilai2 histori yg selama ini mungkin kurang kita cermati. Eg. lukisan "the last supper", apa iya ada Maria Magdalena di situ, kok selama ini gw engga pernah engeh, dan rasanya peserta di situ co semua. Ini trigger buat gw utk buka2 buku kesenian lg utk membuktikan teori Dan Brown benar apa just hoax.
Imagine if Buddhist or Hinduist watch this movie, they barely understand it unless they're equipped with Bible knowledge.
