Beirut Lebanon Restaurant

Last Friday, we tried this Lebanese restaurant called Beirut Lebanon Restaurant. They offer Lebanese cuisine such as Tabouleh, Homous, Motabbal, Baba Ghannaouj, Kebbeh, Sambousek, Falafel, Kebab, Shish Taouk, Shawarma etc. The restaurant is located on the second floor. It's nicely decorated, though it felt a bit old school. Wwe got ourselves a place at the corner, since they have no non-smoking section. Luckily, the place was not very crowded. We ordered their hot appetizer (hot mezza) : Falafel (fried ball or patty made from spiced fava beans and/or chickpeas) 21.5K. For the main course we ordered Riz Basmati Kebuli (basmati rice cooked with a lot of spices and topped with lamb meat) 52K, and for dessert we ordered Mohalabia (a honey-drenched milk pudding) 15.5K. Actually, we want to try Baklava, but they only have Mohalabia and Riz Bil Halib (rice pudding). Overall the meal was satisfying even if I'm not very familiar with Lebanese Cuisine. I especially liked the Kebuli rice and the milk pudding. :)

@Jie: kayanya masih serumpun deh.. bedanya kalo menurut gw loh (BYKS), masakan lebanon lebih ngga berminyak, banyak make olive oil, keju & sayur2an segar. contohnya : tabouleh (salad), hummos (pured chickpea), pita bread. kalo dessertnya sih umumnya manis bgt.

@Michelle: kalo mau yang lebih lengkap menunya cobain Al Nafoura deh. Range harganya juga ngga hampir sama ama yang ini.
