Ketupat Gloria 65

3 weeks ago, we stopped by Glodok for breakfast before heading to Mangga Dua Mall. Our destination is Ketupat Gloria 65 recommended by a friend. Located near Toko Kawi, the place is pretty spartan, located in front of a ruko (shophouse) with only one table to sit. We ordered a portion of Ketupat Sayur which consists of ketupat (rice cake), fried tofu, boiled egg, and squash juliennes, drenched in coconut milk and topped with chilli sambal and fried shallot. It was delicious! It was not too sweet nor salty and the squash was still crunchy. The price was quite high as it cost us about 18K per portion. Though delicious, I think I still prefer Ketupat Sayur in Padang style.

Waaah, thanks Jen. Sayangnya seperti dibahas kemaren, gue makannya yg di depan Tek Kie (yg si Tukang Pioh itu lho). Tapi gue curiga suppliernya sama: sama2 Ketupat Cap Goh Me Ny apa gitu dan rasa yg dijabarin Sopi juga mirip. Jangan2 resepnya sama, tus pecah kongsi gitu, hehehe.

hehehe ..Thanks juga Ven, kayanya sih emang sama yang di depan Tak Kie dengan yg di sebrang Toko Kawi (papan namanya sama). mungkin aja sih mereka punya 2 spot jualan.

btw ketupat sayur padang itu tuh tarikannya cenderung lebih pedas, isinya selaen ketupat ada sayur nangka, pakis (versi Kapau), telor & bumbu rendang dimakan pake kerupuk merah. Dulu sih gw demen sarapan ini di pelataran parkir pasar Slipi Jaya :)

andaikan sepiring ketupat itu ada di meja gue skr :)~ *drooling* keliatannya spicy bgt ya,yg enak2 gini jarang buka cabang banyak2.
