I visited cafe du chocolat last weekend, they offered various kind of chocolate. We ordered one of their specialty's : chocolate therapy with white chocolate & dark chocolate, the drink was served in a wooden tray with kind of aromatherapy bowl to place the milk & chocolate pieces. We also ordered chocolat fondue with banana dipping mmmmmm.......... the taste was unbelievable delicious, soon enough every one have a dreamy look and smile in their face :)I'll be back to this place whenever I visit Bandung. A Must visit for everyone who love chocolate :) ![]() cafe du chocolat setiabudhi apartment ground floor jalan setiabudhi no 130-134 bandung |
On Monday morning we wake up early, there is still alot to do before heading back to Jakarta. We stopped at several place to buy some cake & cookies for friends & family, First stop that morning was at "Kartika Sari" bakery which was very famous for its "Pisang Molen", after that we headed to "Prima Rasa" bakery and bought some Brownies, steamed Brownies, Cheese Stick, Lasagna, "Bocca Potjes" and other snacks. After that we went to Telaga Sari Hotel & Restaurant for DimSum.

After several course of dumpling, porridge and tofu pudding, we are ready to shop again hehehe... this time we headed to "Rumah Mode" factory outlet, quite a lot of collection there. After a while we went to "Batagor Kingsley" before going to "Wale"
Whenever I went to Bandung, I always went to "The Valley" for dinner. "The Valley" is a good place to dine as it is located on a hilltop that has spectacular view of the whole valley where Bandung is situated. There are some similar restaurant near this place such as "The Peak", "The View", "Sierra", etc.. but in my oppinion "The Valley" served much much more delicious food :)
That night when we arrived, we was lucky to get a table inside the restaurant, usually we eat at the terrace in oeder to enjoy the view. The restaurant inside was warm.. light by candlelight, and soft jazz music was playing at the corner. We ordered the house speciality : "The Zoupa Zoupa Soup" (unforgetable valley cream soup topped with freshly baked pastry crust) 18.5K, "Creme de Poulet" (french style cream of chicken soup served with garlic crackers) 14.5K, "Singaporean Claypot Rice" (authentic chicken rice served extremelly hot woth chicken seafood vegetable & soup) 32K, "Lamb Chop BBQ" (charcoal Grilled rib eye served with potato vegetables & mushroom sauce)... mmmm very delicious.. some of my friends friends show up that night.. there was life music where you can request a song, my friends surprised me by requested a happy birthday song for me :) and I got a small back forrest cake with candle on top .. hehehehe... what a night.. thx alot Manda, Ucie, Tika :)

On Saturday morning, I wake up very early because I had travelling plan to Bandung - West Java with some of my colleagues. Bandung also known as the "Paris Van Java" city was a beautiful mountain city at west Java which became a very popular tourist destination every weekend. We arrived there about lunch time so we headed straight to "Nasi Timbel Dago" and had Nasi Timbel Komplit + Ayam Bakar Dada. after that we are ready to explore the city. :)
Dago street or Jl. H. Juanda was one of the Bandung's main street, full with Mall, Factory Outlets, Hotel and places to eat :) I forgot some of the factory outlet we entered here hehehe. after that we headed to Jl. Riau and entered some factory outlet such as "Heritage", "The Summit", "China Emporium" and offcourse "Edward Forrer" (Bandung's famous shoes & bag factory) :)
That night we had dinner at "The Valley" located at jl. Lembah Pakar Timur 28 Dago. This was my fav restaurant with breathtaking night scenery and delicious food. :)
