I tried this restaurant called "woku woku" at mall artha gading 2 weeks ago. the restaurant served Manado food: all cooked in woku style, we ordered "cumi woku belanga" 22.5K, "Tumis Kangkung Bunga Pepaya" 12K, and "Perkedel Jagung" 6K. overall the taste was quite delicious, reasonable price. but not as hot / spicy as I want.

One of my favorite restaurant in Jakarta, served very hot and spicy Manado cuisine. Last week, I had a chance to have lunch there, when we arrived there, the place already packed with alot of people. We ordered cumi woku, ayam dibulu, ayam rica-rica, ikan bakar with sambal dabu dabu, tumis bunga pepaya, a bowl of sop kakap asam and ended it with a delicious "klapertart" (coconut tart desert)

[CLOSED] Kerapu Kuah Asam

Yesterday we had lunch at Benhil Foodcourt, I urged my friends to go here since I was hoping we can eat Manado Style fish soup here. The foodcourt interior itself wasn't very nice, but who cares :P as long as I can have a delicious meal here hehehe... Actually the foodcourt serves very much variation from nasi liwet to seafood etc.

After seated, we ordered "Kerapu Kuah Asam" (Manado Style Sour Soup) from "Bobara : ikan panggang rica khas Manado", a plate of "Tahu Sumedang", and Es Kelapa Muda. The soup tasted very fresh, because it cooked after we ordered, and with a very reasonable price too :)

Celebes

Today we had lunch at CELEBES located at Setiabudi One 1st Floor. Celebes is specialized in Manado / North Sulawesi Cuisine.. which was popular for a very hot & spicy food. The restaurant interior it self not very special.. decorated in minimalism style, I was hoping to see any Celebes handycraft. :(

We ordered "Ayam Woku" (chicken in woku style), 2 portion of "Sayur Kembang Pepaya" (stir fried papaya flower), and a portion of "Perkedel Jagung" (Corn Croquette". I notice some misspelled in the menu.. but its OK lah.. the tasted of the food was not bad.. maybe we because we was really starving hehehe. Worth to try, although not as spicy as I hope for.
